In this new podcast episode, I had the honor to sit down with Dr. Chance Glenn to discuss how nonprofit start-ups can foster greater inclusion in the world of technology.
Dr. Glenn is the founder of the Morningbird Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is also a full tenured professor of Engineering and is currently the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Houston-Victoria. He works with companies, agencies, and organizations to help them maximize their potential in meeting goals for diversity and inclusion.
Dr. Glenn is also a signer, songwriter and musician. His song, “Can You Imagine” is the opening and closing track you will hear in the podcast episode.
I met Dr. Glenn at SpaceX through his support of Starlink’s social impact efforts. As a non-engineer, I’ve come to respect and appreciate the bridge between the world of engineering and the world of social change. I hope that many other engineers will embrace his positive message about the power of standing up for what we believe in to build a more inclusive and prosperous future for everyone.
